We would like to send BIG Happy Birthday wishes to Kay who has a special birthday this Month, congratulations Kay!
A Warm Welcome
We would like to say a big welcome to our new volunteers Emily, Lilly and Charlotte from Dunottar school who are participating in their Duke of Edinburgh awards. We hope you will be very happy working amongst the Priors Mead family. We would also like to welcome our Little Ray of Sunshine crew who i am sure many of you have seen over the past few weeks. The children come and visit on a Tuesday morning and enjoy activities with our residents. Each week is a different theme; music, crafts, baking, bubbles and wrapped up with a sing-a-long – so far this has proved most successful and we have had some really lovely sessions and a lot of smiles by both young and old!
Unfortunately we say farewell to our chiropodist Alex after many years of visiting. However you will be pleased to know her colleague Paula will be taking over and Alex has introduced her to her clients here at Priors Mead ahead of the change!
Congratulations
We are delighted to share that our resident David was submitted into a competition to win a trip on the British Airways I360 which he has been lucky enough to win! Quality Care Insurance Services started a project to turn residents dreams into reality by creating ‘Pollards Promise’ and David is the first ever winner. Well done David and have a fantastic day! I am sure you will all agree that the Summer Party was a huge success and a great time was had by all. The party was very well supported and we have received lovely feedback. We were also joined by members of the Reigate Bowling Club who really enjoyed the afternoon. Photos have been added to our digital frame in the entrance hall so do have a look next time you pop in. A BIG thank you to Anna, Anne, Kay and Stathis for all their efforts behind the scenes and of course Vanessa for taking a lead in the event. Read More >
