Covid Clear Care Home

Priors Mead care home, Reigate

Nightingales Covid-19 update

Like the rest of the world, our response to Covid-19 has meant new ways of thinking and working. Obviously, given that we care for the elderly, our approach has been doubly cautious. And we’re pleased to say it seems to be working, as both our care homes are thankfully free from Covid-19.

To find out more

Now we are all further into how to deal with the Covid world, there are many sources of information, printed and on the web. As part of this information flow we have written two pieces of advice, which we hope you’ll find useful.

We have a weekly newsletter for relatives specifically detailing how we as a care company are dealing with the situation for contact and visits etc – which you can find here

And secondly, we have created an information page to help you if you are currently considering care for yourself or a relative, which you can find here

They should answer most of your questions – but if you need more advice please don’t hesitate to get in touch via email at

Priors Mead is a small, family run care home in Reigate, near Redhill, that exclusively cares for clients with complimentary needs to ensure the best quality of life for all our clients.

Deciding which care home works best for you is a big decision. Of course your safety and security are paramount. It’s also vital to make sure you’ll have the right level of individual care and support. But that’s far from the whole story. Taking effective care as a given, the deciding factor should be whether it’s the kind of place you feel you’d fit in, the kind of place you’d want to call home.

Obviously we’d like you to consider us when choosing where you want to live. We think you’ll like our philosophy of care in a caring way. We aim to provide individual care, without taking over your life. We also think you’ll like the friendly atmosphere, if our residents reviews are anything to go by.

But we want you to make the decision that is absolutely right for you and your family – even if that’s not us. So our approach is to start by giving you all the information you need to make a fully informed decision. We’ve found the best way to do this is if you call us and talk to a member of our empathetic team. Or even better drop in, we’ll make you very welcome, and it will give you the chance to canvass other residents for their opinions.
