Nettlestead
- We had a fantastic performance from Tickled Pink Productions on Monday night performing as ABBAFANTASTIC!, please check out our Facebook page for some photos. A cracking night enjoyed by all Residents, we are looking forward to welcoming them back very soon!
- We welcomed Dianne and Tia this week for a nice chat and petting with Tia the gorgeous animal therapy dog.
- Slow Yoga with Ciara focused on both mind and body on Wednesday morning.
- Followed by a Pamper Afternoon with all the Residents; from nail painting and hand massages to facial massages – it’s a Ladies Day at Nettlestead!
- Outing Alert: We are planning to take some Residents for a visit to Ruxley Manor for a browse and a wander around in the fresh air. We will be taking photos to upload, keep your eyes peeled.
- Chris has been focusing on Bowls this week – well done to everyone who continues to be involved. Who will be the winner?
- Nettlestead Annual Summer Party: We are delighted to be planning our Annual Summer Party this year due to restrictions being eased. Save the date – Saturday 14th August – Please keep this in your diary as we cannot wait to see you all – it has been far too long! Posters will be going up very soon with the times and themes.

Priors Mead
- What beautiful creatures joined us last Thursday; Birds of Prey came along with a variety of birds for us to get up close to and learn all about! We had the pleasure of meeting an over 60 year old owl and an only 10 week old falcon!
- Friday was another animal orientated day, with Kingswood Shetlands joining us for some animal therapy. A very large stick insect was our surprise guest this week!
- We enjoyed our trip out to Priory Farm, dodging the showers and embracing the beautiful garden centre. Finishing off with a nice hot drink to sit and have a good natter over!
- Hopefully the sunshine returns to us this week as we have plans for a BBQ and outside entertainment with Anthony Castleman playing his guitar and a good old Sing a Long to his popular tunes.
- A couple of trips to Earlswood Lakes are on the cards depending on the weather – our ‘Good Old British Summer!!’
- Wednesday was our Midweek Pamper Day with Tina joining us for our hair and Michelle prepping and polishing us with foot spas and gel nail polish.
- Plans are being organised for this year’s Relatives Summer Garden Party which is pencilled in for Sunday 29th August – full details to follow.
