There is a lot to be said for personal recommendations, so if you know anyone who might be looking please do encourage them to contact us and we would be delighted to answer some questions and have the opportunity to provide more information. Our Condolences

We’ve had a difficult month and have sadly said our goodbyes to three of our residents. Each of them will be sorely missed by our residents and staff alike – our thoughts are with their families and friends at this time.

Birthdays 

Please join us in wishing a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Maureen, Peggy, Charles and Irene who will all be celebrating this month! We are so looking forward to the celebrations!

June Activities

We always strive to provide a full and varied activities programme for our residents, so please do share with us if you have any further ideas as to activities they might enjoy or nice places to visit.

1st – Let’s get the month started with a pamper day! Tina is here to get our hair looking beautiful.

2nd-  Lots of decorating to do ready for the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations this weekend.

3rd – It’s Ladies Day over Epsom Downs. Let’s join in and watch the races.

4th- Please join us for our Jubilee Street Party from 2.30pm, we will be hosting an afternoon tea

6th– Let’s get stretching with Judy with some yoga.

7th- Who fancies a trip to the garden centre to make a start on our nature area in the garden.

8th- Time for a relaxing exercise session finished with some meditation with Brandon

9th–Some fun competition today with some quizzes and prizes to be won! Please join us in the lounge after lunch.

10th- Weather depending, let’s take a trip out for a picnic. Limited numbers so please let us know if you’d like to join us.

11th-  Let’s get our chef hats on and get making some pizzas for our supper tonight.

13th- 10.30 & 1.30 – Let’s take a trip to Earlswood lakes for some duck and bird spotting, Michelle’s doing two trips for this today so let her know which you’d prefer to join her on.

14th- Time for some fun musical exercise with Linley from Kiddley Divey .

15th – Pamper day in the lounge, let’s get the foot spas out.

16th – Let’s get creative ! What models can we make out of dough?

17th– Bingo time! Join us in the lounge for an afternoon of bingo and prizes.

18th– Trip to the pub today for a beer with the men in the house to celebrate Father’s Day tomorrow.

19th – Happy Fathers Day! 

19th– Some fluffy and scaly favourites of ours are coming today! It’s Pet Therapy at 11am.

21st– Crosswords and Wordsearches

22nd – It’s pamper day, Tina is here to fix our hair after a two week holiday. We’re sure we’ll be very glad to see her!

23rd – Some Watercolour painting today, please join us in the garden.

24th – 10am – We are off to an early start today for our trip to the Lavender Fields. Please let Michelle know if you’d like to join us.

25th – Tea and homemade cakes this afternoon, feel free to join us in the garden.

27th – The Wimbledon Tennis tournaments start today! Let’s watch and get involved too with our table tennis set.

28th- We are off to Flower Farm today for some strawberry picking!

29th– Tina’s back to fix our hair do’s and Michelle to do our nails

30th- 11am– St Mary’s Church is here for our monthly church service in the lounge.

Every Wednesday is a Pamper Day! 

Tina, our hairdresser will be in to see to your hair, and Michelle will have your feet soaking in the foot spa whilst she trims and paints your nails.

The last Thursday of every month we welcome St Mary’s Church for a service at 11am.

More activities and trips are likely to be added, and the above is subject to change.
