Summer Party

Our Summer Party date has now been confirmed for Saturday 26th August 2023. The theme is ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party!!’ Come and join us for an Afternoon of Tea, Treats and an Overall Thrilling Time! Join us from 1pm-4pm

Please can I ask for you all to RSVP at your earliest convenience so we can ensure everyone is catered for.

August Activities

Please don’t hesitate to suggest any different activities, entertainers or outings to us, as we are always looking to include a variety to ensure we are carrying out activities of interest for our residents. Thank you for your support and feedback so far.

1st – 11am – We are joined by Linley this morning for some gentle exercises
2nd – 11am – Cranium Crunches – Crosswords, Word Searches and other brain exercises
3rd – Tina is back in to refresh our do’s!
3rd – 4pm – Wine and Nibbles at the ready… Anthony returns to serenade us with his guitar
4th – 11am – Cranium Crunches – Crosswords, Word Searches and other brain exercises
5th – Garden Games with Music… Weather permitting!
6th -11am – International Friendship Day & Pet Therapy with our lovely furry friends in the Conservatory
7th – Some Yoga with Judy to start of our week
8th – International Cat Day! It’s all about Princess and Steve!
8th – Let’s go for a drive… Resident’s choice, this could be interesting!
9th – National Rice Pudding Day! What topping do you like on your rice pudding?
10th – I scream, You scream, We’re having Ice Cream!!
11th – Let’s get arty, Sip and Paint by Numbers
12th – Nails … Pamper day!
13th – 2pm – Chair Ballet with Alex in the Conservatory
14th – Some Yoga with Judy, let’s stretch up high!
15th – 3.45pm – Wine and Nibbles at the ready… Anthony returns to sing for us
16th – 1pm – Join us outside for Garden Crafts; Sketch the garden… the possibilities are endless. What can we create?
17th – 11am – Some Yoga with Judy to start of our week
18th – Gardening Fun, let’s plant some seeds and Paint some flowers
19th – 11am – World Photo Day! Cheese and Wine, a guaranteed good time! 20th – Cranium Crunches! – Crosswords, Word Searches and other brain exercises
23rd – 2pm – Margaret will be joining us to play us some beautiful music on her Harp
24th – Garden Games… Weather permitting!
25th – Can you help us with some Flower Arranging to brighten up our home? Let’s bring Summer inside!

26th – Double Celebration!! Dorothy’s Birthday and our Summer Party!!!

30th – 11am – Yellow Brick Theatre will be joining us for an Amazing theatre production
