Covid and Spring Boosters

Just an update on our Covid situation, we currently still only have two positive residents, who we hope will be out of isolation early next week. We are pleased to report none of our team have tested positive. Thanks again for your support during this period, we appreciate it is frustrating but we are so pleased that it hasn’t spread through the home (and hopefully won’t!)

The vaccine team is still due to visit on the 12th April, however unfortunately the two residents who have Covid will not be able to receive their vaccine on this occasion. We are still waiting on a few consent forms to be returned by POA’s as soon as possible so we can get organised ahead of the visit please. Many thanks.

April Activities

Please don’t hesitate to suggest any different activities, entertainers or outings to us, as we are always looking to include a variety to ensure we are carrying out activities of interest for our residents. Thank you for your support and feedback so far.

Sarah is planning to take residents out on a 1-1 / 1-2 basis during the mornings she is working,  pending weather conditions. Locations will include Priory Farm, Earlswood Lakes, Box Hill etc

2nd – 11am, Pet Therapy with Kingswood Shetlands

3rd – Music and Sing-a-longs with Sarah

3rd – Sarah will be taking care of your nails

4th – Spring & Easter crafts; paint, draw or decorate as you desire

6th – 2.45pm, Alex will be with us for some Armchair Ballet

6th – Please help us decorate some Easter Eggs for our Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday

7th – 2pm, Liam Joseph joins us this Good Friday with his excellent vocals, feel free to join us

8th – Games Afternoon with Dorothy

9th – Happy Easter! Residents can look forward to an Easter Egg Hunt after a Roast Lamb lunch

10th – Jeans Birthday!

10th – 11am, Judy starts off our Easter Monday with some Armchair Yoga

11th – 11am, let’s get physical with Linley

11th – 3pm, Spring Sports Day! Residents versus Staff

12th – Vaccine Team expected to administer Spring Covid Boosters – Consent forms required

13th – 9am, Our Podiatrist, Marianne will be here to tend to your feet

17th – Cranium Crunches – Prizes for joining our group crossword puzzle and quiz

25th – 2pm, We’ve got some Marble Paint to get creative with Pebble Art
