Our residents and their daughters had fun reminiscing about their wedding days last week.

Several wedding dressings were dug out of cupboards and lofts and brought into Priors Mead including a dress that was worn in 1949. We talked about how wedding dress styles have changed through the generations; some of our residents’ daughters were amazed to find they still fitted into theirs and were pleased to provide an impromptu fashion show which everyone enjoyed.  There was much laughter as stories and Wedding albums were shared over a glass of champagne to complete the celebratory mood.
